A Chevy with a 347, never heard of it but I'm not much into Chevys, only 67-69 Camaros.

I am just wondering why u would go down from a 350 cu to a 347cu. I would understand going from a 350 to a 383 or bigger.

LS1's are not 350ci. They are 346 ci motors. The 347ci is a stock bore rebuild.
