I know David did it but anyone know what all is needed to get it done on a Foxbody? I was advised this would be very beneficial to my setup. Anyone know a write up or any one that has done it?

You need some kind of stand alone as far as I know.

Not something you can just add on to the stock computer

Yah I know that. I am going to probably order the AEM stand alone.

So far what I am getting is I will need as follows

-MSD EPM module
-Ford Explorer Cam sensor
-Ford Explorer Crank sensor
-LQ9 coil packs
-AEM EMS

most of which will be covered by funds from selling my HVC II coil, Digital 6. distributor, MSD wires, DEI boots. I will have to come out of pocket for the AEM EMS but I already had to do that.

yeah but you had coil on plug from the factory. All you did was go to the LS1 coil packs vs the shitty ford coil packs. I am going to have to convert over from the distributor setup. I need a crank sensor/cam sensor. I am hoping its SOMEWHAT plug and play or I will just stick with the dizzy setup for now.

yeah but I figured if I am going to go thru the hassle of an engine management system I might as well be able to control spark per cylinder.

I am still considering this. It sounds fairly simple and the benefits are far greater than the negatives.
