I believe the piping was done by OddBall turbo....and the tuning was done by TSS and the odds/ends and fuel system was done by SouthSide Speed Shop

He actually bought the kit used.. Had the uppipe changed to fit the bullseye turbo, because it was setup for a 76gts... also had to have a reducer put on the downpipe...

The kit was used but had to be cut up to fit the car. The kit came off a car with no a/c ETC so all the piping had to be redone to fit around things. the radiator had to be pushed forward to fit the turbo which also changed some of the pipes. The powder coating was done by Gulf Coast powder coating I believe, they are right down the street from Stevens Race Cars.

The kit before modification fit better than it does now. And came off a car with acc. We had to remove the ac compressor but it fit before hotpipes would havme melted the plug. They were literally touching. Now it also rubs steering shaft and both tires. Not to mention there was no place to get a decent drain for the turbo And one of the support brackets uses a bolt hope that's supposed to be an idlers pulley. Radiator is in stock location but the fan is a smaller unit. Also the muffler hangers were weak exhaust has fallen. Off while driving down the road..

We had the 80mm with ac bolted up on the old kit. Downpipe didn't fit because difference in flanges. and we had to remove stock fan.. but the uppipe had a ton of clearance everywhere.. it was a small uppipe that merged between the motor and trans slipped under the mount area and went up to the front of the motor.

Looks pretty good. To keep important connectors from melting use the DEI heat shielding sleeves to cover the important stuff. Who is "TSS" and whats the projected power range for the car?

Tss is triangle speed shop.

This thing has insane amounts of heat shielding. As close as the kit gets to some things that was about the only option. It's got wraps, sleeves, and is even coated.

But I will say if you have a turbo car and want a quality coating that Will make a huge diff send it to polydyn. The standard stuff has no place on a turbo setup. You are just limited on colors when using an actual performance type coating

Expected power is a lot. After we put some. more compression. Heads. Cams. And I change some more things on the turbo kit.

Sounds good. "Alot" is what range? Not a troll or anything....just interested. I'm known by many here just very interested in the build. i've got drug a couple times by this car on the old set-up and have much respect for it. Will the car be making any passes prior to the engine overhaul? Polydyne is preety good....I have some stuff coated by them, just wish they could have gone a bit further with certain items...

We made some passes this past weekend.. It refused to shift so we couldnt do anything with it..

Probly going to go auto here soon when we do the motor..

Block is already at the machine shop, crank is at his house, as well as the heads and cams, just need rods and decide what we want to do with the transmission.
